Panther Pause
21 years of Pride at Colleyville Heritage High School

Panthers,
It is amazing to think that we are a month into the school year already, but I guess time flies when you are having fun!! Man, we are having lots of fun at CHHS right now. I got the opportunity to visit several classrooms this week and it makes me excited to see what our teachers and students are accomplishing together. I really enjoyed our Open House this past Monday; it was great to see all of the parents visit CHHS to meet their students' teachers. This level of collaboration is vital to each student's success, so if you weren't able to attend, I would encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher to establish a relationship to help support the success of your student.
Our students continue to amaze me with their performances, both on the field and in the fine arts arena. If you haven't had the chance to see the Panther Band halftime show, I would strongly encourage you to catch the next performance of Cosmos - it is a fantastic show with a great representation of PRIDE!! Our state-ranked volleyball team has started off 2-0 in district with a big match tonight at home against Richland - come out and support them at 6:30pm. As soon as the volleyball game is finished, make your way to the football game at Pennington Field as our young men take on the Trinity Trojans. You will get the chance to see CHHS PRIDE on full display by our football team, cheerleaders, Panteras, Pep Boys, Panther Band, and of course, our student body as they cheer on our team to victory. Have a great weekend and GO PANTHERS!!

Student Voice
At CHHS, pride is a factor that affects us all. As a school we are all proud of something we have done individually or together. Whether it be passing a test, or winning a game, there is something we have done that has contributed in shaping what we know as CHHS pride. Our school's pride is unique and unlike any others. Through our successes and failures we unite as one and display our spirit in everything we do. Pride is what shapes us as students, individuals, and as a school. Panther pride never dies!

PROJECT GRADUATION
CHHS PTSA is excited to bring Project Graduation to the class of 2018! Project Graduation is a program designed to keep our seniors off the roads on graduation night in a safe, overnight lock-in event which is alcohol and drug free. We need your help! We need your ideas, your time, your services and your skills. We need to raise approximately $25,000 to provide our kids with a memorable event that is at no cost to them. Please help us start a new CHHS tradition for our kids! We can provide them with a safe, fun and memorable celebration with your help!
The event will be at Dave and Buster’s in Euless on May 31 and include tons of food and fun activities like games, karaoke, a hypnotist, comedian or magician, plus prizes and giveaways. We hope to give away a car; and $50 cash to each student who attends but it all depends on you! If you can help by volunteering or donating funds, or if you own or know of a local business that would like to donate or be a sponsor, please sign up on the sign up genius link.
Fundraising has already begun!
You can help now by selling or purchasing tickets for our 50/50 drawing that will take place every HOME football game at Mustang Panther stadium! To purchase, look for our volunteers in the parking lot during tailgating, at the front gates, in the concession area and stands selling tickets until half time. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The winner gets half the pot and the rest goes to Project Graduation. Help us by signing up for a shift to sell tickets! Students can also volunteer for service hours!! Have them bring their card to be signed. Click on the link to volunteer.
