Dismissal Form
MANDATORY Daily Health Screen
Parents will be responsible for completing a DAILY health screen for each of their children in the PikMyKid app. The screening questions will be answered and submitted in the PikMyKid app. If parents do not complete the screening form prior to the child(ren) arriving at school, the child will be screened at school. We STRONGLY encourage families to complete the screen at home so that children aren’t spending time waiting in a screening line and missing class time.
Parent Drop Off Process
- Make sure you have your phone in the vehicle with you
- Enter the bus loop during the designated times: 8:00-8:10 (AM session) and 11:55-12:05 (PM session)
- Stop at the greeter in the bus loop
- Vehicles will NOT be permitted to enter the driveway prior to the start of the drop off time
- Vehicles will enter the bus loop to drop students off (unlike past years when vehicles pulled up along the median and students crossed the crosswalk)
- Prepare your child for a quick exit (might want to give the hugs and pep talks at home!). If your child is having difficulty separating from you we will ask you to pull along the median and will assist you once the other families have dropped their children off.
Parent Pick Up Process
Make sure you have your phone in the vehicle with you
Enter the bus loop during the designated times: 10:15-10:25 (AM session) and 2:10-2:20 (PM session)
Place the PikMyKid Car Tag in your front window
Stop at the greeter as you enter the bus loop and select “Announce” on the PikMyKid app
Pull up in the loop and wait for your child(ren) to exit the building near the East side entrance. Students will exit the building near the music room on the Ease side of the building therefore parents will drive the length of the bus loop and enter the side lot on the East side of the building.
Note:
- If you need to make any changes to your child’s dismissal status (such as delegation to a different pickup individual) simply do it in the app up to 30 minutes prior to the start of our dismissal process (by 10:00 for the AM session and 1:55 for the PM session). You will receive a notification that we received your change. Any changes within 30 minutes of dismissal will NOT be able to be completed within the app (call the main office and we will attempt to honor your request but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to make the last minute change for you).
- Vehicles will NOT be permitted to enter the driveway prior to the start of the pick up time
- Vehicles will enter the bus loop to pick students up (unlike past years when parents/guardians entered the building for pick up)
Attendance
If your child is going to be absent, dropped off late or picked up early for any reason, please log in to your PikMyKid account and make the necessary designation in advance.
If you have trouble designating attendance in the app, please call the main office (585-671-3190) to report the absence.
Buses
IMPORTANT:
- NO bus passes will be issued for the 20-21 School Year
- If you selected to provide transportation for your child(ren) this year, and now need to use bus transportation, please complete this online opt-In form to reinstate transportation (will take approximately 5 business days to go into effect).
- If you need to make a change to your bus transportation due to daycare or an alternate location for drop off or pick up, complete the Transportation form found on the transportation website.
Transportation Schedules are now available on the parent portal:
- Click on More then Transportation.
- If you need help accessing the parent portal, please email ICportal@webstercsd.org
Buses will drop students off at arrival upon entering the bus loop (they will drop and go, unlike sitting and waiting for one bell to unload all students as they had in the past)
7:50-7:55 (AM session) and 11:45-11:50 (PM session) buses arrive and unload
Buses will be dismissed first this year to make room for vehicles to enter the loop for pick up
10:10 (AM session) and 2:05 (PM session) buses roll
Visitor's Policy
For health and safety reasons, NO visitors will be permitted on school property with the exception of
Parents/guardians in vehicles during arrival and dismissal
People that have been given prior approval from school personnel
Note: This includes the bus loop and the first day of school. Feel free to come and stage your child(ren)’s first day of school photos on the front loop in the days leading up to school or after school hours (after 3:00 PM) on the first day of school.
NO Extra Clothing, etc Available
Meals
Students will continue to have the option to get both breakfast and lunch from our food services department. However, a major change this year is that students will be given the meal(s) during dismissal to take and consume at home. For example, a child in the AM session of school could bring home lunch for that day as well as breakfast to eat before school the next morning.
If your child(ren) qualifies for the free or reduced program, they automatically qualify for the same level of benefits for both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast and lunch can be paid for out of your child’s MySchoolBucks account (set up account by visiting MySchoolBucks.com) or by sending in a check (made out to Webster Food Services) or cash. NO change will be given if cash is used to pay for meals (the balance will be placed on the students account).
If you have any questions specific to the breakfast or lunch programs, please visit www.websterschools.org/districtpage.cfm?pageid=1214 or contact the Director of Food Services, Mark Balfour at Mark_Balfour@webstercsd.org or 670-5105.

Asynchronous Learning
1.) The asynchronous (when students are not at school) part of the school day is for students to practice and extend skills that have been taught in the classroom.
2.) Classroom teachers likely won't provide feedback on work done during the asynchronous part of the day.
3.) Classroom teachers will not be available during the asynchronous part of the day as they will be teaching other students at that time.
