From the Principal
We are so excited to welcome back our Bobcats! We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday for Teddy Bear Tea and Meet the Teacher!
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 9th and doors will open at 7:15! You are welcome to walk your child to their classroom on the first day of school. You may park at the Woodland Oaks Church on Crownridge.
Dismissal will also begin slightly early to make sure we get all students out of the building safely. We will begin releasing car riders at 3:00. Bikers and Walkers will be released between 3:05 and 3:10. Dismissal times are staggered to help with traffic flow in the hallways. We will continue this early dismissal schedule until August 11th.
Please make sure to bring your transportation tag with you everyday to pick up your child. For safety reasons, teachers and staff are not allowed to release students without them. If you forget it, you will need to check out your child from the front office with a photo ID.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Mrs. Thompson

Beginning of the Year Frequently asked Questions
1. Can I walk my child to to the classroom on the first day of school? Yes. The campus will be open for parents to walk to the classroom on the first day of school. We ask that all students walk to class on their own on the second day of school. There will be staff members helping students if they need to find their classroom.
2. When can I eat lunch with my child? The first two weeks of school are critical for learning about the classroom, halls, restrooms, recess, lunch, and specials classes. This is important for setting procedural and safety procedures. We are limiting visitors until Monday, August 21st.
3. How do I make changes to my child's afternoon transportation? The best way to change transportation is with a note given to the teacher prior to instruction beginning for the day. It's best if you send a note to school with your child.
If you are not able to send a note, please email bushtransportationchanges@conroeisd.net. Please do not email, Bush@conroeisd.net.
4. Can I send a water bottle with my child? Yes. We encourage this. Please ensure your child's name is on the water bottle.
5. What if my child leaves their lunch at home? You can drop off the lunch at the drop off table located in the foyer.
