Physical Education News

Hello Flynntastic Community welcome to a new school year! I am Carol Ann Spaid a .20 Physical Educator honored to have the opportunity to guide your children towards a healthy lifestyle. Physical Education provides students with lifelong learning and experiences that promote health and physical fitness. My goal is to promote Health literacy in active enjoyable classes.

As a native of New Jersey, I moved to Vermont and completed my Bachelors and Masters in Education at the University of Vermont. I have two sons in Vermont, my eldest son is a Designer/Builder married and father to two boys 6 and 3. My younger son is a Postal worker.

I have had the pleasure of working at Bristol Elementary for many years. My service included designing curriculum and working with the children of many of my former students. My professional experience includes working with all ages in Wellness Promotion, Jump Rope, Circus Arts, Gymnastics and Dance. A passion I hold is Choreography and creating dances for Special Events, Weddings and Unified Arts. I am a former member of the Karen Amirault Dance Company.

Important Physical Education Needs

Students this year will need appropriate, comfortable clothing and required sneakers.

Class will be outside as weather conditions allow for Physical Education.
