Kindergarten Prep at Pershing!

Pre-Kindergarten Night!

K-Prep is for children that will be entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2021. Fun, age-appropriate activities will be provided to focus on Kindergarten readiness. K-prep will provide children an opportunity to get used to the layout of their school, as well as get to know some of their future classmates.

To ensure safety during this event we can only have one adult attend with each upcoming kindergarten child. No siblings at this time. Adults and children are required to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer while at school. Thank you for understanding.

Come and join Mrs. Frazier and Mrs. Owensby for some fun, hands-on learning activities to help your child get ready for Kindergarten. Our next K-Prep night is February 23rd from 6-7 PM in Room 247. Come in the north Pershing Elementary doors.

Virtual Kindergarten Prep Option

With the challenges of Covid 19 we will offer a Virtual option. If you choose virtual you will need to email a link request to either blfrazier@spsmail.org or Keowensby@spsmail.org and we will send you a zoom link for the event. We will do our best to share the Kindergarten Prep event with you virtually in real time with the seated option. In person is really best for this age child and we have taken extra precautions to keep you and your child safe. We understand that some families may choose the virtual option and we will do our best to keep your child engaged and excited about Kindergarten over the link.
