Genius Hub Community Volunteers
Dear Parents,
Last year, we worked hard to change an underutilized area of our school into a place where students can learn from our community members. We need your help! You have talents, areas of interest, and exciting things that you do that students would love to learn. This could include a hobby or craft, a book club, an interesting job, a helpful skill such as organization or presenting, or even just something fun! For example, last year we had community members present on math games, photography tips, playing a unique instrument, filming movies, becoming a surgeon, commercial banking, etc.
The Genius Hub needs you during the months of March to May to volunteer to work with a small group of 6-8 students for 30-40 minutes and teach them something that you love or that inspires you. You can do this once a month if you are interested in coming more than once. Once we get your name through our form, we will contact you to set up a time to come. This will be a great way to help our school teach students innovative, creative, and practical ideas that can help them in life. To sign up to volunteer in our Genius Hub, click the following link:
Please feel free to forward this link to community members who might be interested in sharing their expertise but might not be a parent of a Greystone student.
