Principal's Message
Dear Wildcats,
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. day! I hope that you have been able to rest up and have some valuable time doing what you needed to get done! Today has been a good day to sit back and reflect. This week, I was inspired by of Dr. King's quotes, “If I cannot do great things I can do small things in a great way.” Think of all those things that are in your hands. Some of those are small things, but important things. Think of your big rocks and do them well.
This week's announcements are here for you.
- PLC: Objective for this week: PLC: Teachers will discuss, plan, and implement learning for January Guaranteed 3 TEKS chosen by grade levels as measured by Mastery Connect platform.
- MAP: Be prepared for your MAP testing session prior to administering the MAP. Ensure students take their time and use accuracy to accomplish their mid year review.
- Vertical PLC: Objective: Teachers will review Panorama Playbook resources to support school connectedness goal. (2:45-3:05) Teachers will work in respective vertical teams to rewrite clear daily objectives for their classrooms. (3:05-4:00) CSHAC will collaborate to meet CSHAC goals.
Again, thank you for all you do! You make me so proud!
Wildcat Love,
Rachel Martinez

I know there are many unsung heroes out there that I did not get to mention. If you see someone out there going above and beyond and want me to recognize them on cat tracks, please send me an email.
PBIS and Project Class
Project Class: Mrs. Futch will be on campus on Friday to make up for her day. Continue working on the skill of the week with your students. Be creative...sing songs, act it out, have the students come up with their own ideas on teaching it to another class or grade level. Practice, practice, practice! :)
PBIS:
Continue earning your paws this week. Many classes received all 4 paws! Way to go! Please set aside 5 minutes daily, prior to going to lunch, to review cafeteria ROARS with your students. Do this all week so that we are re-establishing procedures for the start of the year. The more your review the expectations with your students, the better the behavior, which helps our lunch monitors in a big way!
