Workshops to Strengthen Healing and Communication

The Art of Regulating Emotions

Nicole P. Willcox is hosting Sandy Hook Summer Child therapy Sessions to provide a pleasurable creative extension for children's social-emotional skill building among peers and for long term health.


A variety of art materials will be available for exploration, along with sequences of healthy art tasks. These workshops and sessions are best suited for children who enjoy making artwork and children of all ages who attended Sandy Hook Elementary in December, 2012.


Individual and sibling sessions are available upon request.

The Art of Balance

Thursday, July 2nd, 9am-3pm

Private location, Sandy Hook, CT

This group is for children who enjoy making art, it will be small and private. The intention is to provide a small workshop setting for children to practice creative skills that build greater emotional balance and communication skills. They will have opportunity to share their concerns and strengthen skills they wish to focus on creatively.


Will include special guest Movement therapist.
