School Resource Officer Introductions
The Board acknowledged our School Resource Officers and thanked the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office for their partnership. These Officers play an integral part in student and staff safety throughout the district. Thank you for your dedication to our community!

Thank You Mrs. Tammy Harper!
President Smith, Michele Morrissette, and Beverly Kelly presented Mrs. Harper with gifts and cards from QACPS staff members. Mrs. Harper is retiring after 8 years of Board service, and being actively involved with QACPS since 1998. Thank you to Mrs. Harper for her many years of service to QACPS. Enjoy a very well deserved retirement!

BOARD ACTION ITEMS
The Board approved the contract with Oak Contracting, LLC to construct outdoor classrooms at each of the eight (8) elementary school sites. Fiscal Impact: $507,659.00. Budget Source: Grant: Governor's Emergency Relief II (GEER II) Funds.
The Board approved the contract with JCI/Simplex to replace the chiller at SES. Fiscal Impact: $369,516.00. Budget Source: $153,000.00 FY2023 State capital funding and $216,516.00 FY2021 County capital funding.
The Board approved the contract with AMN Healthcare, Inc. for school psychology services. Fiscal Impact: $108,000.00. Budget Source: Unrestricted Operating Budget.
The Queen Anne's County Board of Education approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Financial Statements as presented.
The Queen Anne's County Board of Education approved the contract with PowerSchool to replace our current time and attendance system with TimeClock Plus. Fiscal Impact: $155,202.40. Budget Source: Maryland Leads Grant.
