All Pro Dad is teaming up with Operation Give Back - 11/20/19
You are invited to the Maple Dale Elementary All Pro Dads breakfast on Wednesday November 20th from 8-9am in the school cafeteria. This free monthly breakfast is sponsored by fathers, the PTO, and local businesses.
We will have a guest speaker from Operation Give Back and learn how we can support the work they do!
When you think about what people want most in life, it is happiness. Even the Declaration of Independence states that we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But what we are really looking for is contentment. How do we help our kids find that?
If attending please RSVP by noon on Monday November 18th via the link below so the correct amount of food is ordered.
Reminders- please do not walk your child to their classroom, please park down at the district offices to free parking spaces for staff members, and please be aware that a school delay or closure cancels the breakfast.
Please consider making a donation to support an upcoming meeting. Checks can be made out to “Maple Dale PTO” with “All Pro Dads” in the memo line and given to Greg or Doug.
Consider having your kids be in charge of reminding the family when picking up food at the drive thru or at a restaurant to ask that the family not be given plastic straws. We all know how to drink out of a cup right? "And, with the USA using 500 million straws every day (enough straws to circle around the Earth 2.5 times!), that’s a lot of trash and potential litter." for more info...

Sycamore Schools On November 5 Ballot
We are just days away from a crucial decision for our district. On November 5, voters will decide on a $127.5 million bond issue to renovate and replace our oldest and obsolete facilities. If approved, this will result in an increase of $7 monthly per $100,000 of home market value.
Through our three-year Master Facility Plan process we identified the need for replacement and renovation of the district’s aged and obsolete buildings to support the educational and instructional needs of current and future generations of students. Learn more about why low-interest rates and escalating construction costs make this a cost-effective time to implement this plan.
Every school in the district will see some impact if the plan is approved on Tuesday. Learn more about the specifics of the plan, the construction timeline, and our vision for the future of our schools.
