WHEN & WHAT
Well, there were many different theories about how Dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago. One of these theories is that a masive Meteor hit the earth and wiped out the speices. Another theory, is that some sort of disease killed the Dinosaurs. There is also the theory that a volcanic eruption occured and poisned the air that the Dinosaurs breathe. They could not have possibly survived that. The last scientific theory is the Dinosaurs died do to climate change. A major change in climates will cause death to many species.

Prove it!
Scientists are still not sure about what caused the extinction. But, there are theories. Some scientists are confused because many of todays dinosaurs such as Reptiles like snakes, salamanders, turtles, and alligators, survived. The Astroid theory seems to make sense because a layer of rock that was dated exactly to the extinction date which, occording to some scientists, had a lot of Iridium. Iridium comes from astroids. Makes sense right?
How has it changed the World?
THis event has changed the world, it has made more jobs avalible. One of the jobs that this has created is a Paleontologist. Now people can become a Paleontologist and learn more about this catstrophic event.
