Fifth & Sixth Grade News

October 12, 2015

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Congrats to our Cross Country Runners for finishing their final meet. Way to go!

Field Trip: Our first field trip is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle. We will be taking the bus with Mr. Sanders but we need parent chaperones that have completed their VIRTUS training or update. Please let me know if you can attend by October 21st. The cost of the field trip is free for both students and chaperones.

Here is a link for upcoming VIRTUS training if you have never attended one before:

Please make sure students are in the correct uniform everyday, to include a sweater, sweatshirt, or vest. This was communicated at the beginning of the year and I believe Dennis uniforms are no longer back ordered.

Lastly, students have been bringing Pokemon cards which are easily misplaced and being traded out at recess. This is affecting our class time and becoming a distraction. Please keep cards at home. Thank you!

Looking forward to a great week!
