Mrs. Clark's Essential Chemistry Class
Students in Mrs. Clark's Essential Chemistry Class made erupting citrus fruit volcanos, using lemons, oranges, and limes. They learned how different ingredients mixed together can form different types of chemical reactions. Additionally, they learned that the pH value of the citrus fruit also affected the size of the reactions. The most acidic of the citrus fruits, the lime, made the biggest and best reaction.
Work Experience Trainee Highlight
Fareway is an Iowa based grocery established in Boone, Iowa in 1938. Today, Fareway is one of the largest employers in Iowa. They currently operate 121 store locations in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
We would like to thank Jim and this staff for working with our students over the years. We wish them continued success in their efforts to enjoy working to serve others, giving the little extra it takes to succeed and to carry through with the belief that no deal is a good deal unless it's good for everyone concerned.
