Glazier Family Bulletin
August 15-19, 2022
Here's to a great opening of the 2022-23 school year!
A huge THANKS for the team effort in getting our year off to a festive, engaging start! Each every gate had extra TLC thanks to our awesome Glazier PTA (Membership is $10 and they will have a table at Back to School Night). Our Nutrition Services team is serving about 80% of our total campus--and we can serve 100% due to Free Breakfast and Lunch for ALL students this year. Our supervision team has been guiding students in recess and lunch activities while monitoring for the heat index, and our classrooms are thriving with student talk and connections thanks to our teacher leaders and paraeducator support. Our front office successfully enrolled new TK, K and other grade level students so that we had our newest Gladiators ready to start on the first day. It's been an awesome August so far!
Thanks to our families, we are having smooth drop-offs and pick-ups, especially with TK/K students out at 11:00am for these next two weeks. We appreciate your focus on safety as we dismiss within 10 minutes or less.
Please "save the date" for Back to School night Wednesday, August 24, 5:00pm-7:00pm. Flyers will be sent out to our families this week.
Thanks for your outreach as we've started the school year. It's going to be a wonderful year of growing and learning together!
