  • One teacher taught Athen boys how to read , write , and do arithmetic
  • A second teacher taught Athen boys how to play sports
  • A third teacher taught them how to sing and play a stringed instrument called the lyre
  • Only in some wealthy family's did girls learn how to read , write , and play the lyre

Location

  • The Athens are located northeast of Sparta , if you were to walk it would take about two full days to get to Sparta
