Letter from Ms. Carr

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Hello! My name is Ms. Carr and I am ecstatic to be a student teacher in your child’s classroom for the next twelve weeks! Given that I will be in the classroom with your child almost every day and will be seeing you at parent teacher conferences, I thought I would tell you a little background about me.

I am an alumni of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. I graduated in 2013 with a major in History and minor in Sociology. I participated in Junior Achievement throughout college and had the opportunity to volunteer in various middle schools in the Corpus Christi area. I actually grew up not too far from here and am a proud Northwest Texan alumni, so I am familiar with the area! In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.

Needless to say, I am thrilled to be student teaching with Mrs. Neiswender at Tidwell Middle school this semester. I am excited to be working with this class because I can tell that they are a truly amazing group of students. I know that this will be a time full of learning, not only for the students but for me as well!

Thank you for this opportunity!
