Welcome to the February edition of our school newsletter. Many exciting things have been taking place at WIN, and we want to share them with you.

As always, we continue to have high expectations for our students and encourage them to have a WINNING attitude everyday.

In this short video presentation Dr. Nelson-Jackson, Assistant Principal of Discipline, talks about how WIN Academy's top priority is to create a safe environment where students can learn and grow.

For February, we welcomed LaRhonda Patrick, the first elected female African-American Mayor of Warner Robins, GA. A graduate of Northside High School, Mayor Patrick embraces the message of "Our City-Our Future".

Mayor Patrick's address to our students detailed ways they can set themselves apart by setting goals, working hard and networking. She also discussed the power of Faith.

FCA huddles are held the first Thursday of each month from 9:40AM-10:20AM. Students can participate by signing up to receive an entrance ticket from Coach Rouse. During the meetings, guest speakers will address the group and share personal testimonies and words of encouragement, wisdom and hope.
