Respectful, Responsible and Safe - September 30, 2022
April 21, 2023
Hello Marshall Families!
I’d like to start today by thanking everyone for attending the John Marshall Centennial Celebration on Saturday, April 15th. We had an amazing turnout with a great group of alumni, retirees, and current families. Be sure to check out the photos in today’s newsletter and check out the video linked to the photos from the event!
As we enter the last part of our school year, I’d like to thank some of the important people who make our school a great place to be. We are fortunate at John Marshall to have so many volunteers who help our school be a great place to learn and have fun! John Marshall students are lucky to have such involved families and community members. When families and neighbors participate in our school community, it makes it a better place for everyone! Thank you to everyone who has given their time to our school this year!
Wednesday, April 26th is Administrative Professionals Day. Huge thank you to Mrs. Seliger for always helping us all stay organized, ensuring our students have what they need, and being such a happy greeter for our school!
The first full week of May, May 8-12, we will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. We are fortunate at John Marshall to have an amazingly dedicated staff of teachers and support staff who focus on student learning and success each day. I feel lucky to work with these hard-working, creative professionals. I ask our entire John Marshall community to join me in thanking the members of our team who work to make each day great for students!
Just a quick reminder, that we do not have supervision until 8:10am, so we ask all families to ensure their child doesn’t arrive at school before 8:10 each day. This is for your child’s safety. Your child should come directly to door 1 and head to breakfast if they are here early.
Ms. Patterson

Dear John Marshall Families,
The Annual Spring Art Show is upon us! Please join us on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 from 6 to 7pm to view the amazing artwork that John Marshall students have worked hard to create throughout this school year. Each student will be represented in the show by 1 piece of artwork that they students feel demonstrates their best work as an artist. This is a great opportunity for your student(s) and you should be very proud.
There will be an opportunity to cast your vote for best in show. The top 3 students will receive a prize and a certificate of recognition for their accomplishment.
In the cafeteria you can participate in decorating your own cookie work of art to eat alongside a glass of juice should you so desire.
Additionally the PTO will be having a bake sale to support future fun and events at John Marshall.
I hope to see you there!
If you have any questions about the show please email me.
Thank you for your support of your students and the arts.
Artfully yours,
Ms. Rebekah Anderson
