May Update
It's the busiest time of the year! We have field trips, Field Day, Career Day, 4th Grade Picnic, and our Spring Concert all packed into May! Please remember to check assignment folders each night to stay informed of your child's work and events at school.
FIELD DAY - We love to have parents watch and cheer on their children! SPECTATOR GUIDELINES: Spectators are welcome to come watch the Field Day events on our back field. For safety and security reasons, all spectators must be screened using our Lobby Guard System and wear a neon sticker. To expedite the process, anyone who has signed into Lobby Guard during this current school year may proceed directly to the registration table. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience to keep our students safe. Spectator areas will be designated on the field to allow maximum viewing of the events.
Our school community continues to support those in need! Our shoe drive brought in 93 pairs of shoes! Thank you!

We want dads, grandfathers, uncles, and male figures important in your child's life!
We have had 27 WATCH D.O.G. Dad days this year so far! The overwhelming reactions from our students is one for the memory books! If you would like to volunteer for a full day or half day, please make sure you have your clearances. Click here for details on how to get your clearances. If you have your clearances, pick a date between October and March. Then e-mail Mrs. Brucker (jbrucker@methacton.org) to see if that date is available. That's it! Remember you are a rock star the entire day, and Aramark provides you with lunch!
CALENDAR CHANGE FOR MAY - PLEASE READ
This notice is to inform you of a revision to the district calendar for this current school year (2018-2019). May 7 is no longer designated as an In-Service Day and is no longer a scheduled day off for K-4 students. The updated calendar now reflects May 21 as an In-Service Day (no school K-4). May 21 is Primary Election Day in Pennsylvania. Our Elementary Schools will be closed on that date only for K-4 students. The Methacton Board of School Directors approved the calendar revision at the April 23, 2019 regular board meeting.
