From the Principal

This week Monroe students completed their final Map testing for the school year. Our students have worked so hard throughout the school year on Map testing. Your child's results will be sent home in their grade cards.

We are still in great need for parent volunteers for field day. Please consider signing up. You can join us for half of the day or the entire day, if your schedule allows.

Tonight is the Monroe PTO movie night. Come out to Monroe this evening to enjoy a movie and snack with your family.

Have a great weekend!

School Store Link:

We can use this link right away to start promoting to parents. It will take them directly to the kits available for your school! Families have until July 1, 2022 to order!

5th grade Supply List:

This summer, families will have the opportunity to visit CMS. As we prepare for your child to transition to Canaan Middle School we spend time learning about your child and their needs from our Elementary staff. If you feel your child needs additional support in place for their transition you may contact Marianna Hein (Guidance Counselor) or Matt Keller (Principal). We look forward to welcoming the Jonathan Alder graduating class of 2030 to Canaan Middle School next fall.

Beekeeper visits Monroe Elementary

Today we had a beekeeper come to Monroe to share information about bees with our kindergarten, first, and second grade classes. They have been learning about bees in library this month.

From Food Services.......

The JA Food Service Department is asking all families to complete their Free & Reduced Meal application in Final Forms, regardless of need, due to program changes for the 2022-2023 school year. The form can be found below. This is also a great opportunity to update any of your child's information as well.
