A New Year....and New Resources in the SHS Library!
A Shiny New TV and Great New Way to Stream Classroom Videos!
The SHS library has added a new resource for teachers to use in their classrooms - a 50" Vizio TV with a DVD player and a Google Chromecast unit for streaming video. What does this mean? For starters, teachers can show a classroom video without monopolizing their laptop computer.
Teachers and staff, want to find out more? Come to a 30-minute workshop right after school on Monday, January 11 to learn more about using the TV and Films on Demand Digital Educational Video with your students! Contact Suzanne Larson to sign up or find out more.
New Databases!!
Seekonk High now has access to some great new humanities resources through ABC-CLIO databases. These databases replace the Proquest databases because they offered a greater range of curriculum topics at a lower price. Check them out today!
