Thank You for Recognizing Our Teachers
This past week, many of our families donated gift cards for our Wildcat teachers. We cannot thank you enough for recognizing the great work of our educators. Moreover, 392 students recognized their teachers through out Willard Teacher Shout Out Form this week alone—WOW!
A few highlights include Rachel Ramsey's shout outs to her teachers. She shared that Mr. Van Camp "shows a mutual respect to his students, which I consider to be the defining factor of a great teacher. He shows a love for English, and that definitely helps students to love English as well." Reese Hwang spotlighted Mr. Buffone for his ability to bring great passion and energy to Civics. Sra. Tshiteya 's scholar Briella Taylor could not help but sing her praises, sharing that when she thinks of Spanish class the first thought that comes to mind is "Yes, Spanish with Sra. Tshiteya!" Arjun Nadakuduru spotlighted Ms. Seal by sharing that "she always greets every student when they join the Meet, and she is very helpful if we have any questions." Isabelle Maresca wrote, "Going into Ms. Morris's classroom instantly brightens my mood. She is so cheerful and enthusiastic. If I am having a bad day, going to English will change that." Last, but not least, Sophie Stroup shared that Mr. Schafer "always believed in me through the year when I didn't believe in myself! He pushed me to be better and now because of him my science grade rocks this quarter! Thank you to our Wildcat Educators—your sense of wonder, ability to impact our students, joy in leading, and forever desire to develop our scholars has made all of the difference!
