What is child labor?
- When children under the age of 15 are forced to with little pay
- Most Americans believe that child Labor stopped generations ago
- Child labor was never a big issue until they started to work in factories
- Child labor began in the late 1700's to the early 1800's
- Child labor was reopened when Kathy Lee Gifford had Child Labor children making the clothes for her new line
Pro's for Child labor
- Child labor can become a source of money for very low income family's
- Child Labor can he developing countries increase the export
- Child labor is found in most third world countries but, not in America
- It can show the children responsibility
- It can show them the result if they do not come to work
- The family's would get extra money for the child's education
- There owners have changed and made the work conditions better
- Laws are being made to protect the children from physicalor mental harm
