ISTEP Stress Test

Don't you love that title? We will be utilizing the computer lab and iPad Cart 2 this Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 for this test. Unfortunately this means the lab and iPads will be out of commission during this time. Also, in order to load the appropriate app we've had to do some maintenance on the iPads and remove some apps. If there are apps you want to use please check ahead of time to make sure they've been put back on. Thanks for understanding as we prep our equipment for this year's ISTEP assessment. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Congrats Leslie Fisher!

First grade teacher, Leslie Fisher is this week's GRIP winner! Leslie was caught showing Integrity and Purpose this week. Leslie is such an amazing teacher and is a master at engaging her students. Last week Leslie sacrificed and stepped in and covered a class in a time of need. Thanks for all you do Leslie!

Volunteer Meeting, January 22nd

I've been working on a volunteering partnership with Fishers United Methodist Church over the past month. They want to be more involved in the Fishers community and have agreed that volunteering at HRE would be a great way to accomplish that. We have scheduled a meeting with interested volunteers on January 22nd. I need all HRE staff members to be thinking of how we would want to utilize these volunteers. Prior to my orientation meeting on the 22nd I would like to create a menu of volunteer options so we can best match volunteers with their area of interest. Any ideas you have are good ones so please email me any and all ideas you have of utilizing these folks in our school. The due date for ideas will be Wednesday, January 20th.
