Dear Alto Families,
The weather is heating up, and our students know the end is near! There is a lot of energy and enthusiasm in the building. Our excellent staff is doing a great job of harnessing this enthusiasm to continue the exceptional teaching and learning that occurs every day at our school!
FROM (Flat River Outreach Ministries) Food Fight!
Thank you for your support in making the Food Fight a success. At last count, we had collected 2,896 total food items. We will complete a final count today. Thank you for your generosity and support!
MAP and M-Step Testing
We have completed all classroom testing for MAP and M-Step Testing! Our students gave an outstanding effort on these assessments. Student reports will be mailed home with report cards at the end of the school year.
Virtual Students - If your child has not yet completed math and/or reading MAP testing, please select from the remaining dates that were recently sent out via e-mail or call the school to make arrangements.

Our kindergartners were singing and playing,”Ring Around the Rosy” they made statues on the phrase”husha husha we all fall down!”
Our third and fourth graders are busy illustrating their rhymes they created to the song, “When I Was One”
Our fifth graders wrapped up their study of the orchestral instruments
And hopefully decided what instrument they would like to play next year!
Here’s to a blessed summer and we will see you in August!

ANNUAL UPDATE
Attention families, we are asking that all PRIMARY households take a moment to update student information for the 2021-22 school year. This information will be used in place of the information cards usually completed in the fall. It is extremely important that this information is updated before the end of this school year. We are requesting that this be completed by May 28th.
Be sure to update ALL health information - only information shown during this process will be inside your child’s account.
This document will explain how to complete the process. There is also a video posted at the bottom of the document to show you what this process looks like.
Transportation Out of Boundary - For schools of choice or out of boundary students, you must complete this update in order to request transportation for next year. Transportation is not guaranteed for out of boundary students or schools of choice students. Transportation will be first come, first served and based upon availability for out of boundary students.
Secondary Households - we also ask that you update your information. Please see the bottom of the instruction document for information.
