Congrats on a great close to the 2018 marching season!
This past Saturday, the Clear Creek Wildcat Band competed at the USBands REMO Series Finale in New Caney.
In preliminary competition, the Creek Band swept all captions in Open Class III (classification based on size), placing first in the group! In addition, the Wildcat Band was third place overall in prelims for all classifications.
In finals, Creek held onto our third place standing...finishing the season with our strongest performance yet!
Congrats to all performers and thanks to all our supporters for their help and hard work!
Events, Announcements, and Information
Marching Rehearsal This Week
For the remainder of the football season, we will only rehearse from 3:30pm to 4:30pm on Thursdays prior to a game.
All students are required to attend these rehearsals.
Marchathon is This Coming Saturday - All Students Will Participate!
Full information on Marchathon is available by clicking here.
Students should be bringing in their sponsorships and donations this week. The goal is to have all donations and sponsorships turned in by Wednesday.
Please direct all your family and friends to the website to support the Creek Band and our annual Marchathon.
You can also have them text CREEK to 94253 and we will send them information.
Pay Attention To All Relevant Calendars
Each part of the Creek Band organization has its own calendar on the website calendar. You can filter to view only the calendars you need to see by using the drop down arrow in the upper right hand corner.
Please make sure you are viewing the calendars that are appropriate for you and/or your student.
The "Clear Creek Main" calendar will have information appropriate and needed for the entire group, but "Wind Symphony" will have specific events, rehearsals, etc. for just Wind Symphony, and the same for other groups.
Payment for Region Band and Orchestra is Past Due
Attend the University of Houston Band Concert
The concert is Tuesday, November 13th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
Students currently enrolled in Wind Symphony or who wish to audition for Wind Symphony in the Spring of 2019 are expected to attend. All other students are welcome and encouraged to attend. We will bus from CCHS to the concert and back.
