Marching Band Drum Majors - Upcoming Board Recognition
See the Details and be sure your students know:
- Arrive at Central Office (3236 Atlanta Hwy, Dallas) NO LATER THAN 5:20p.m.
- Get signed in with Dr. Browning and go to the Training Room Area to Meet 'n' Greet the Board Members and Dr. Otott at approximately 5:25
- Pictures will begin with Drum Majors and Board Members/Dr. Otott AT 5:30 - It you are late, you will miss the pictures and they will not be retaken
- Finish Meet 'n' Greet and Line Up for Recognition at about 5:55
- Meeting begins at 6:15p.m.
**SPECIAL NOTE - For this board meeting, I will not be there. I am usually the one doing all the recognitions and this is the first one that I will miss. I will be in south GA that week presenting at RESA's there. I am sorry I will miss it but it is important that our students are still there to be recognized by the board. Dr. Susan Browning will be doing the recognitions. This month - Drum Majors and Directors/Asst Directors are our ONLY recognitions. It should go relatively quick.
I NEED THE FOLLOWING ASAP:
- Drum Major Name
- Drum Major Grade
- Drum Major Instrument
- Drum Major Future Plans
- Name of the Show for your School this Past Fall
Fine Arts Day Prep Time is Here! Sign-Up NOW to volunteer, bring groups to perform, etc!
Fine Arts Day - Advocate
Please make it a priority to be a part of this event. Your PLC section "Advocate" has Fine Arts Day as a main component.
Participate in Fine Arts Day (March 28) in at least one of the following ways to receive your PLC Credit:
- Volunteer to serve on a planning team (email Katie if you are interested)
- Bring a performing group
- Set-up/tear-down
- Work at least 2 hours

High School Art ONLY - Farm Bureau Art Contest
Farm Bureau is seeking entries for their 2020 high school art contest. The contest is open to all public, private and home school students in 9th through 12th grades. Finished artwork must be on 8.5 x 11-inch white paper and should be created in the colors black, white and gray.
Paulding County Farm Bureau encourages students to enter the contest. The purpose of the Farm Bureau Art Contest is to encourage students to creatively explore Georgia agriculture and increase their knowledge of the contributions it makes to our lives. Georgia farmers produce a wide variety of crops and livestock including poultry, beef cattle, dairy, cotton, peanuts, timber, pecans, blueberries and many other fruits and vegetables
