Early Literacy Videos

Brought to You by Jen Griffing and Our Partners at SST 9

Early Literacy is everything a child knows about reading and writing before he or she can read or write. They need to learn about sounds, words, language, books and stories. Below you will find three links to Phonological Awareness, Responsive Interactions, and The Power of Language. These brief modules discuss the building blocks of language and the role of sound in early literacy. You have a vital role to play in helping families support their children with early literacy development. Please take a moment to enjoy these modules!
