Wonderful Triton Staff,

Happy National Disability Awareness Month!!
As we enter March where our Triton Trait is RESILIENCE, there is nothing better than to celebrate those have experienced or continue to endure a disability. March is National Disability Awareness Month. On February 26, 1987 President Ronald Reagan officially declared Proclamation 5613 making March National Disabilities Awareness Month. The proclamation called for people to provide understanding, encouragement and opportunities to help persons with disabilities to lead productive and fulfilling lives. Everyone wants, and deserves, to enjoy life, feel productive and secure. Individuals with disabilities have shown us what resilience is. They and their families embody resilience and they had to learn early on to never give up. So as we begin March, each of us need to take time to honor our ELM students who have disabilities and celebrate their success and emulate their resilience.
Celebration YOU Breakfast!
