New ID Policy!
We have a new ID procedure! Students received their ID card at registration. Students either got a student ID card OR an ASB ID card if they purchased ASB membership for the year. All students will be required to visibly wear their ID daily on a lanyard while on campus. If a student loses or damages their ID card they will be required to get a replacement ID from the Shark Shop. Replacement ID cards cost $5.00 and replacement ASB ID cards cost $10.00.
BE A SHARK!
BE A SHARK: REWARD YOUR CHILD!
We are rewarding positive BE A SHARK behaviors - be sure to look for these same qualities from your students at home and let your student know you appreciate it when they:
S - Show Responsibility
H - Have Integrity
A - Achieve
R - Respect
K - Know yourself
At the end of the first quarter, over 3500 students have received Shark Bytes for displaying BE A SHARK behaviors. Shark Bytes were redeemed at the Shark Shop this week for free ice cream, a free tardy pass, a Shark lanyard, and even a free PROM ticket. Everyday, everywhere, we want students to continue to act out the BE A SHARK values. Continue to show up on time to class and be prepared to work - that's just one behavior that we expect from all Sharks. Keep it up!

Students interested in visiting UC Santa Cruz
UCSC Admissions will host annual Saturday Tours on October 20 and November 10, 2018.
These student-led campus tours provide prospective students with a general introduction to academic and campus opportunities.
An Admissions presentation covering freshman and transfer admissions will be followed by a student panel and an all-walking campus tour.
On the tours, students and families will see the beautiful campus and learn more about the exceptional academic experience and co-curricular opportunities that UC Santa Cruz offers! For students who cannot visit the campus this fall, we offer an online virtual tour featuring the voices of their outstanding student tour guides, and offered in five languages.
Session times are available at 10:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m, and 2:00 p.m. Students reservations for all campus tours must be made in advance online.
