Principal's Corner -- A note from Mrs. Holloway
Happy Fall Ya'll!
It's been such a wonderful month- full of learning, fellowship, and surprises! I am always in awe of all the amazing teaching and learning that goes on in our school! I love to celebrate with our students when the meet a reading goal or learn their math facts. It makes my day joyful when a student comes to read to me, and I always love listening to an amazing story or report a student has written. Our teachers and students are doing great things-every-single-day!
Donuts with Grownups was a tremendous success! This has always been a morning we all look forward to, and this year the attendance was record-breaking! Thank you, East Lynne learning community, for making this such a special day.
Finally, I would like to congratulate our very own superintendent, Sonja Vaughn. She received the 2022-2023 Outstanding Rural Superintendent award. She is most deserving, and we are all very fortunate to have her here at ELS!
We have several activities on the calendar for October. Make sure to mark them down, and I hope to see you there!
Every student. Every adult. Every day!
