How Catawba Tribe met their natural resources
Catawba Indian Needs
The needs of the Catawba are the same as all humans' need. They need water, food, shelter, clothing and relationships. They lived in the Piedmont of NC.
Water
They dig holes in the ground. Then they put water in the hole.
Food
They fish for fish in the rivers they had .
Clothing
Catawba men wear breechcloths and Catawba women wore dresses. They made their clothes out of deerskin and porcupine quills.

Catawba Pottery
Catawba make pottery out of mushy clay out of the Piedmont rivers.
