Colored rain has been falling on the planet for centuries. It has occurred in lots of colors. Some colors are reds, yellows, blacks and whites. There are reports that it has fallen in scarlet green and brown in 2001. Scientists determined that algae caused these rains to be colored.
In Europe, red rains are typically dyed red by storms from Saharan sandstorms. Colored rains often begin with dust hitting the rain. Dust storms cause the rai to turn yellow or brown when they come in to contact with the rain.
