ALL ABOUT TREES!
MARCH 13, 2015
Dear Families,
We have started to study trees. We 'll be obseving and comparing trees to learn what lives in them, what they are made from, and who cares for them. We hope that this study will help children explore and appreciate nature.
This week we went on a tree hunt and collected as many leaves and sticks to create our own tree! We have described their color, smell and texture. We got to count trees and compare their sizes.
We are creating and building with real logs and tree parts! Make sure to ask your children what they have learned throughout the week.
