Help the GWMS Choir Raise Money by Donating Your Old Shoes
George Washington Middle School Chorus (GWMSC) is conducting a shoe collection drive on 11/18/2015 to raise funds to raise money for new choral risers. GWMSC will earn funds based on the number of pairs collected as Funds2Orgs will purchase all of the donated goods. Those dollars will benefit the purchase of new choral risers. Anyone can help by
donating gently worn, used or new shoes at George Washington Middle School, Choir Room A237 (above Entrances 6 and 7).

Now it is time for our PBIS vocabulary game….. WORDS WITH FRACULTY
WORDS WITH FRACULTY! This week’s intellectually snobbish, impractical, obsolete, and vacuous word will be stated on the announcements. Students will be challenged to use the word in its proper context per the appropriate content area to gain prexie love in their classes.
THIS WEEKS WORD: blatant - obvious
Great News - Mail Chimp is Here!
Mail Chimp is our amazing new platform for sharing great news with our GW families. Thank you to everyone for your contributions…..KEEP THEM COMING! You are doing great work with our students and the parental feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
Continue to send your pictures and short write-ups to Ms. Barnes - adriane.barnes@acps.k12.va.us - to share all the wonderful things going on in your classrooms.
Thank you!
HALLWAY SUPPORT AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Please, please, please be a present force in the hallways during ALL passing periods. We need to perform as a unified team in this respect. The power of the many is what makes transitions smooth and orderly. Simply put, we cannot do this alone.
