7 Mindsets

Live to Give teaches us to stretch ourselves to be our best self every day, make a difference each day by doing small acts of kindness, receive gracefully and feel worthy of receiving new and wonderful things, and to leave a legacy.

This mindset also teaches that the greatest gift you can ever give is finding and leveraging your unique genius to maximize your positive impact on the world, knowing that good things will be returned to you in kind. Mashburn is supporting Forsyth’s Holiday House and Forsyth families by donating gifts this holiday season. Donations will be accepted through November 30th. Live to Give!

A Note From Mrs. Smith

I hope your Thanksgiving Break is filled with opportunities to have an Attitude of Gratitude, time to reenergize and a time to rejoice in your amazing children. It is a pleasure to spend our days with your kids. They keep us on our toes and we are continually impressed with their knowledge and amazing personalities. Thank you for sharing your family with us!

~Mrs. Smith

We would like to congratulate two Mashburn students who were county winners in their categories at the recent Reflections Art Contest. Dara Illingworth took first place for first grade in the category of Photography. Haley Simpson took first place in the fourth grade Visual Arts category. Both girls will advance to state competition. Way to go!

Book Fair THANKS!

Thanks to all the many volunteers who helped make our Scholastic Book Fair so successful this year. Whether you decorated, helped to run the register, or assisted our wonderful students as they looked for the perfect book, we want you to know that your help was greatly appreciated by our media center staff, teachers, and students. We LOVE our volunteers!!
