Autistic Disorder

The most stereotypical form of autism. Autistic Disorder causes language delays, social challenges, unusual habits and interests, and sometimes intellectual disabilities.

Asperger Syndrome

Mild form of autism. Asperger Syndrome causes social challenges and unusual behaviors and interests, but usually does not cause language or intellectual barriers.

Autism is a non-infectious disease caused by mutations in the genetic code.

Autism has no cure. Autistic medications only help people with autism function better. Autism is most frequently treated with therapy to work on affected skills. Dietary changes may also help.
