Virtual Open House and Learning Series
Tuesday, Oct. 5th, 6-8pm
This is an online event.
You will meet your student's teachers by using your student's Chromebook or personal device and signing into Canvas classes to click on Zoom links.
This opportunity will be for you to familiarize yourself with what "right looks like" so you know what is being asked of your student throughout the year.
Parent Satisfaction Survey
Our district is working each day to provide a great place for students to learn, teachers to teach, employees to work, and parents to send their children for an excellent education. We are committed to listening and responding to your experiences as a parent in our district. Our partners at Huron/Studer Education are providing an opportunity for you to provide feedback anonymously, at the link below.
Please take a few minutes to complete the Parent/Family Satisfaction Survey at this link: https://app.keysurvey.com/f/41560968/75a9/
The survey is scheduled to open October 4th and remain open through October 19th.
Your feedback will be used to celebrate our successes and to create action plans. Your input is valuable.
Thank you for your commitment to our district’s success.
iReady Reading and Math Opportunity
Please discuss the importance of your student's effort with these opportunities. We want for your student's experience to be timely and meaningful!
Reading Data (See Below): The impacts of the pandemic and the influences throughout the academic year can be viewed by the reading scores below. What these graphs show are students who are on grade level (green), one year below grade level (yellow), and two or more grades below grade level (red). Our master schedule is set up in a way to support students' reading skills. Beginning on October 18, we will be providing your student with timely, reading intervention and enrichment.
You will also receive an individualized copy of your students' scores from both the Reading and Math Diagnostic. We want you to know where your student stands and how well they are learning at EMS.
Your student has strengths in certain skills. Your student has opportunities for learning in certain skills. We want to know how to support your student. To pinpoint exactly what your student needs, we need a tool to determine your student's needs.
