Dec 23: Update: Community Transmission- HIGH LEVEL

REMINDER: BCS will observe winter break beginning Thurs., Dec. 23rd. Staff will return Mon., Jan 3rd. Students return Tues., Jan. 4, 2022. Community transmission rate will communicated prior to Jan. 3rd.

BCS Covid dashboard Updates:

Covid positive cases and quarantines that are submitted to the BCS Covid Tracking Team will be charted upon their return the the office on Monday, January 3rd, 2022. The BCS Covid Dashboard will be updated on Friday, January 7th to reflect two weeks of data: Dec. 24th-30 and Dec. 31st-Jan. 6th.

Face Coverings to Continue Week of December 27th for Berkeley County Schools

Today, December 24, the community transmission rate remains High. Per Berkeley County Board of Education based upon guidance by the Berkeley-Morgan County Board of Health (BMCBH), face coverings will be required by all persons in Berkeley County Schools/Offices/Buildings next week, Monday, December 27th through Sunday, January 2nd. At this time, face coverings must be worn on school buses per federal requirement under the CDC regardless of transmission rate.
