-it actively involves the family in each child’s education.

Faith Committee
May is still in the Easter Season! Easter officially ends with Pentecost Sunday on May 19th. Our new Saint is: St. Bernadette Soubirous. She was a young, poor girl who lived in France in the 1800s. She was devoted to Jesus and was visited by a Lady; who was The Immaculate Conception-Mary, the Mother of Jesus! In her last visitation, Mary directed Bernadette to dig in a certain area. A miraculous spring popped up and today thousands have visited the spring and been healed in its waters. Just like Bernadette, we are asked to pray the rosary and to pray for those who are sick and poor. We will be doing a Living Rosary since May is the month of Mary.
May 5 - 11, 2024
Catholic Education Week for 2024 is May 5 - 11, 2024, and World Catholic Education Day is May 9 (Ascension Day). Each year, Catholic schools in Saskatchewan participate in a week-long celebration to remember and share the gift of Catholic education.
A Call to be Kind
We all have the capacity to be compassionate, and we know that doing so can make an enormous difference. This year’s Mental Health Week is centered on the healing power of compassion. In a world plagued by suffering, we emphasize that kindness is equally intrinsic to our humanity. Join us from May 6 to 12, 2024 to explore how compassion connects us all.
SCHOOL DRESS CODE
With the arrival of warm weather finally, it is time to remind everyone about the dress code. Shorts and skirts need to be finger tip length with arms extended at the side, no midriffs shown, no underwear shown, no racer back tank tops and tank tops must have straps that are 2 adult fingers wide. All spaghetti strap tank tops or dresses must be covered with a sweater or jacket.
Drop off and pick up
Help us keep our students safe by using the parking lot beside our board office for drop off and pick up purposes. This parking lot is supervised after school and allows students to walk safely through our playground keeping them away from traffic.
Reminder that the curb in front of our school as well as the bus lane and staff parking lots are no park zones. These zones help to control our crosswalks keeping our students visible and protected as they cross the street.
Plant Fundraiser
The plants will be delivered May 8th. Thank you for your order.
