May 2020 Newsletter
In this Together
As we enter the last month of school for the 2019-2020 school year, my hope is for everyone to finish the year with a positive mindset. Next week (May 4th-8th), we will be celebrating Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. I want to express my utmost respect to the teachers and staff at Imagine-Chancellor. Their dedication and commitment to the students and school are the reason we have been able to forge through the current situation with positive outcomes. They have inspired me in ways I could never imagine and I'm so thankful for the best teachers in staff in the world!
Although this year has been filled with extreme challenges, I believe our Imagine-Chancellor family's bond has become stronger. This is not the way we would like to end the school year, however, with creative minds and loving hearts we will make it memorable for all. This newsletter is filled with important information regarding end of year celebrations, so please take time to read and take note of the events. I am so grateful for the entire Imagine-Chancellor family! We truly have come together and made this experience the best it could possibly be for all. Thank you and always remember we are #inthistogether!
With much love and appreciation,
Ms. Standley

Second grade students have been successfully distance learning now for over six weeks. All students are actively engaged in whole and small group instruction, and are adjusting well to our new learning style. Earth Day has brought out the creativity in us. Students have taken items around the house that have no real use and have made an art masterpiece. This past month we even had students learn how to play the guitar and ukelele. May is upon us and we are eager to surprise our mothers with something special for Mother's Day. 2nd grade classes would also like to invite any parent/guardian who would like to talk about their profession or play a musical instrument to join us on zoom. We are looking forward to making this last month of 2nd grade a memorable positive learning experience.
