The First Thanksgiving
November 16, 1621
It was truly a day of blessing as the 4th grade students brought to life the Pilgrims and Indians of long ago through the Living Museum at Honey Horn Plantation.
The Early Days of Colonial Life
The day continued by the students experiencing colonial life through dance and making colonial toys and crafts. They even made butter, tasted johnnycakes, peeled apples and sucked on sugarcane. It was a wonderful day!! Thank you for the many hands that made this day so special, especially Mrs. Izant and Mrs. Harsta! "Oh, may this bounteous God through all our life be near us."
