DONATIONS FOR MENTOR PROGRAM
The Mentor program is a very successful way to connect our students with their mentors. Those dedicated people take the time and patience to ensure our students are on track with their education and life in general.
To celebrate the students and their mentors' hard work, Smith MS is sponsoring their 1st Brown Bag luncheon on October 13th, 2021. This event is to allow the students and their mentors to spend time and have lunch together. The students and mentors appreciate that time to bond and all the generous donations. Please contact Rebecca Demski rebecca.demski@cfisd.net for any questions about the program or donations.

CFISD SUICIDE PREVENTION LETTER
In support of National Suicide Prevention Month, the CFISD Mental Health Intervention Team—a collaboration of the guidance & counseling, psychological services and police departments—created a Suicide Prevention Newsletter. The newsletter will help make parents and community members aware of how CFISD works to prevent and respond to suicide risk in children and adolescents, and how you can do the same at home.
