In day 3 and 4 we will begin to consider a pattern for the garment by exploring traditional folkloristic patterns around the world. Choosing the pattern and applying the modifications that will convert it to an up-to-date stylish clothing. Starting to lay out and Felting. At the end of day 4 the white coats will be done.
At day 5 we will do the printing, dyeing and touch ups for the coat.
Irit Dulman works in her studio in Givatayim, just outside TLV, but her inspiration seems to lack borders of time and place. Her colours, textures and designs are sensually bold, seductive, introvert as well as daring. There is nothing obvious in her work, for it has it’s own reason and feminine insight.
