Important reminder: Crossing the road
It has come to our attention that students from Halcyon are not crossing the road safely, and are running across the road to Toto’s upon leaving the building at the end of the day.
We kindly ask that all students cross the that you cross the road at appropriate cross-walkings. This is of utmost importance for your safety.

iOS and OSX updates:
Please be aware that several operating updates have been released for your iPad, iPhone, and Macbook. We ask that all of these updates be done at home. After you complete the update it is important to do any further individual updates to your apps as this will give you the best user experience.
iTunes U iPad App: If your iTunes U courses are not updating with the latest information from your teacher be sure the "sync notes" button located in the settings is enabled by making it green.
You have Mail!
Students please remember to check your Halcyon student gmail on a daily basis. Be sure you have this synced on your iPad in the iOS mail app.

Lunchtime Park Schedule
The following Grades will be going to the park following the below schedule:
Friday - Grade 9 & 10
**All students going to the park will need to meet in the Hub for a prompt departure.
Remember to bring your sports and outdoor shoes for the Park!
Today's Lunchtime arrangements:
Lunchtime activities will rotate everyday with the following scheduled for today:
Grade 6
- Lunch commences at 1205
Grade 7 & 8
- Lunch commences at 1215
Grades 6, 7, 8(who are not enrolled onto lunch-time activities):
- At 1225 students can go to the Hub with Miss Dutton for games etc or to Goldsmid Hall for table tennis and games etc with Marvin from Fit For Sport and Ms. Zago. Please meet them in the back of the canteen to be escorted to the hall.
Grade 9 & 10 (to the park after a quick lunch)
- Lunch commences at 1225
- At 1235 students who are going to the park (listed below) will need to make their way directly to the Hub for a prompt departure to the Park with Mrs. Watson.

Halcyon Guest Speakers: Javier Sanchez
We are delighted that as part of the Halcyon Guest Speakers programme, Javier Sanchez, father of Celia and Andres will be addressing students on the subject of marketing and advertising. Javier speaks from his experience in working for Coca Cola. This talk is open to all students.
