Lone Star Language Academy

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures:

All students must be dropped off and picked up ONLY in the designated areas. Parents can also park and walk to drop off (after 8:15 am) and pick up their child (after 3:45 pm) from the designated area. Students may NOT be signed out after 2:45 p.m., proper dismissal procedures must be followed.

School Day Classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and are dismissed at 3:30 p.m. Students may be dropped off as early as 7:00 a.m. They will be supervised, but there are no organized activities before the instructional day begins.

Tardies – We are requesting that you be sure to drop off by 8:00-8:10 in the morning. If your child gets dropped at the bell time, they still must walk through the main office and down to the classroom – and they are missing the start of the day with morning announcements! So, please try to get your child here in plenty of time to unpack and get into the classroom.

LSLA Handbook, 2018-2019

Snack time at school is a required HEALTHY snack - so we are telling the students they may not have chips, pop tarts, candy or similar sugary snacks. Please help us to reinforce this by providing such things as pretzels, goldfish, crackers, or something that has some nutritional value. If you allow the chips, that can be eaten at lunch but not for snack. Thank you!!

Tuesday, April 2nd: 1st, 2nd, and Sibling Picture Day!
