The Season of Love

Spread love, joy and happiness during Black History Month. Black History is American History. It is important that we continue to learn about our history. We will have several acknowledgements and recognitions throughout the month, including a Vocal Concert during seminar on February 16.

We will also recognize our high achieving scholars with our Honor Roll Assembly and All As Breakfast. Students who received an overall GPA of a 3.0 or above will be recognized on February 9 during 6th hour. Students who received all A's for semester 1 will be recognized on February 10 at 9am. Congratulations to all of our high achieving scholars!

Count Day

Count Day is Wednesday, February 8th. Students should prepare for the following time shift for the month of February, beginning on February 8th.


1st Hour 8-8:50 AM

2nd Hour 8:55-9:45 AM

3rd Hour 9:50-10:40 AM

4th Hour 10:45 AM-12:15 PM

5th Hour 12:20-1:10 PM

6th Hour 1:15-2:05 PM

7th Hour 2:10-3:00 PM

8th Hour 3:05-3:25 PM


A-Lunch 10:40-11:10

B-Lunch 11:15-11:45

C-Lunch 11:50-12:20

Counselor/Parent Meetings

Stay informed!


Parents of 9th, 10th and 11th grade students should take advantage of the Counselor meetings happening the week of February 6th. (See calendar below)


Counselors will cover transcript review, summer programs, special programs (AP, IB, Dual Enrollment), course offerings, and more.


The meetings will be in person with a virtual option.

Counselor Parent Meeting by Grade Level

During the week of February 6th, the counselors plan to have grade specific parent meetings. This meeting will be held in person, however there is a link below for those who cannot make it in. Schedule: 9th - Monday Feb 6, 10th - Wednesday Feb 8, 11th - Thursday February 9th

All meetings will begin at 5:30pm.


Parents, it is important to stay informed, please plan to attend.

Seniors: Scholarship Link

At this time seniors should be deep into applying for scholarships. Some have already begun to claim money!

Below is a scholarship link that Ms. Jones will update regularly as more come in. If you have not started, please take time to do so now. Parents, encourage at least a day to dedicate to completing scholarships. "Scholarship Sunday" sounds real good!


As seniors earn scholarship dollars, they should report it to Ms. Jones.
