This little guy lives in the holes of cacti made by woodpeckers to keep from the heat.
Desert Kangaroo Rat
This long tailed, furry, little rodent gets their water from their food, so they don't have to worry about dying from thirst.
Fennec Fox
These cute little foxes have huge, bat-like ears to radiate body heat and help them keep cool in the Sahara heat. They also have long, thick fur that insulates them during the cold desert nights.

Like many other Cacti, this cactus is prickly to defend itself from predetors.
Giant Succulent Tree
These bizzare looking trees located in Socrota, (Island off the coast of Yemen) Have abnormaly large trunks and small branches. They are very thick, and woodpeckers have trouble peircing them.
Socrota Dragon Tree
Also one of the many bizzare trees of Socrota, these mushrrom-like trees have only brancy leafs covering the top to it can get its required shading.
