Hi everyone!
I hope you all are doing well! I miss coming into school and seeing everyone! I just wanted to say hi, and that I hope everyone is doing alright. Also... a few things to remember:
• If you can vote, do it! It makes a difference and it’s easy! (And if you can’t remind others to!)
• Take care of yourself! We are in a global pandemic, and it’s okay to take a break sometimes!
• Connect with your friends! It’s important to have people to support you!
Anyways! I hope you are doing good, and you’re killing it!

Dear Fellow Students,
Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day. Don’t let other generations speak for you. If you are eligible, it is a critical time for you to vote.
Only 43%- less than half- of eligible voters aged 18-24 voted in 2016. This year let's make it 100%.
The work does not end after the election. If you are interested in becoming active we encourage you to find what you are passionate about and explore ways to make change. EHS offers many leadership opportunities for students to have a voice in their community and social justice movements. If you are unable to find a specific group that you relate to, we strongly support you in creating your own group.
Social Justice Union

EHS Students Demand Action
Contact: Amy Phillippo
We can end gun violence.
Firearms are the leading cause of death for young people. And more than 100 Americans die by gun violence every day — hundreds more are wounded. We’ve grown up in the midst of the gun violence crisis and are demanding action. That’s why we’re rising up and organizing in our schools, universities, community centers, and more across the country to call on our leaders to pass laws which will keep our communities safe.
Student Government
Contact: Laura Williams
An organization whose aims are to develop leadership skills, foster experiences in government, provide service for school and community, and to provide a collective voice for the students at EHS. Members are either elected or appointed as laid out in the Constitution, and represent all four classes. The democratically elected group represents the will of the student body when making school policy suggestions and creating and organizing various student activities.
Joining a student organization is a great way to stay involved all year. Many other important groups can be found through this link : https://www.ewsd.org/domain/430
