Hello John Marshall Families!
What a blast of summer we’ve gotten after a cold spring!
We thank you all so much for joining us for a number of great events at John Marshall in the past couple of weeks!
We had a great turn out for Walk, Bike, or Roll to School Day on Wednesday, May 4. Students did a great job practicing safely getting to school. Thanks to Mrs. Wawrzaszek for putting the event together!
Thank you to all the families who came to support and watch our Spring Concert at Wausau East on Thursday, May 5. Thank you to Mr. DeLonay for directing a great concert and congratulations to our students for putting on an amazing performance!
Our 3rd through 5th grade students did a great job at the Marshall Track and Field Day on Monday, May 9. We had a lot of students work really hard and qualify for the Kiefer (City-Wide) Track and Field Meet next week! Thank you to Mr. Whalen for planning and coordinating a great event!
Also, a huge shout out to the rest of our staff who have helped with practices for music, timing/judging at the track and field events, or helping with Walk to School day. It takes a lot of people to make a lot of great things happen each day here and they are amazing at doing so!
We hope you will join us for the PTO Spring Cookout and Dance on Friday, May 13. Join us for some fun with friends and family and support our PTO and school through raffles and shopping at the book fair! Hope to see you there!
Ms. Amanda Patterson
